I met Jenn & Leon over email as they lived in Singapore and were planning their Sydney wedding from afar. I finally got to meet them just two days before their wedding, and they were every bit as wonderful as they sounded! They were super sweet and super friendly, the kind of couple that makes me love my job so, so much!
Jenn wanted soft pastel colours for her bridal bouquet so we used roses, stock, blushing bride, succulents, and peris japonica to create the perfect look for her.
The same colour theme was used for the table centerpieces, incorporating candles.
I often get brides wanting candles for daytime receptions, but worry if it will look weird or out of place. I say go for it! Candles always create great atmosphere and are magical and pretty at any time of the day. Use whenever and wherever you wish!
In typical Spring-fashion, it had been a week of relentless rain, still sprinkling as I loaded up my car for the morning’s delivery. Luckily the threatening clouds dissipated, and I couldn’t help but smile when I saw sunshine peeking through the clouds as I slipped away just before the ceremony started. Jenn and Leon got the outdoor waterside wedding they wanted and I couldn’t have been happier for them.
Thank you Jenn and Leon for letting me be a part of your gorgeous day!
